Job Description

This key role is a critical finance partner for operational leaders across MS NOW and CNBC. This role is responsible for providing accurate and timely information on accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) for both brands to multiple stakeholders. This role will report to the Senior Director, News Finance and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with MS NOW and CNBC operational stakeholders and provide support for internal systems including financial coding
• Collaborate with customers and vendors to maintain master record information and invoice/payment status
• Process and verify customer invoices, credit memos, and payments
• Receive, verify, and process vendor invoices
• Investigate and resolve payment or invoice discrepancies
• Analyze AR and AP data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Maintain compliance with internal and external control requirements
• Support ad hoc projects and requests across AR, AP, and FP&A functions

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 1+ years of experience in finance, accounting or related field
• Solid communication skills with the ability to synthesize data and complex information, and present succinctly to executives and stakeholders at all levels

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Salary range: $67,000- $75,000
