    About the Role
    We are seeking a smart, driven, and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team with a clear trajectory toward a strategic finance/CFO role. You will work directly under a CPA, and be trained to take on financial leadership responsibilities over time.

    You will focus on analytics, financial modeling, budget tracking with expense categorizations, and decision support to help the company make timely, data-informed decisions across its portfolio and operating businesses.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update cash flow projections and budgets across multiple properties in various stages (stabilized, under construction, land held for development, etc.) as well as in-house management companies for construction and property management.• Categorize payments and receipts in Quickbooks and deliver budget vs. actual reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to executive stakeholders• Maintain and update property-level proformas to underwrite new deals and provide ongoing visibility to investors and internal decision-makers• Track and analyze debt levels, assist in maintaining lender covenants, and manage ongoing communication with existing and potential lenders• Maintain insurance schedules for all properties and entities, and coordinate with insurance brokers to fill information gaps and support renewals• Coordinate and review outgoing payments and vendor activity, especially construction draws, capex schedules, and development-related disbursements• Support the preparation of investor reporting packages, dashboards, and executive summaries• Build and refine financial models for new development deals, acquisitions, refinancing scenarios, and internal planning• Assist with ongoing cash flow monitoring and forecasting across multiple entities• Collaborate with property management and development teams to gather data on rents, expenses, and operational performance• Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses for senior leadership, capital partners, or lenders• Learn and eventually take ownership of budgeting and planning processes across the portfolio

    Requirements

    • 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or real estate (internships included)• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field• Strong Excel skills, including comfort with complex models (formulas, linking sheets, etc.)• Basic understanding of financial statements and cash flow forecasting• Familiarity with real estate financial concepts such as IRR, DSCR, and NOI• Experience with real estate or investor reporting tools• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious• Eagerness to learn, grow, and eventually lead in a finance function• Bonus: Exposure to Yardi, Argus, Procore, or other real estate software
