Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for Reimbursement functions including on-going financial analysis, participating in the annual filings of various cost reports, audits, and other related items, Community Benefits Report, and maintaining Third Party Liability accounts.
Required Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
· 1-3 years of accounting and/or financial reporting experience
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem solving and financial analytical skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Advanced Excel skills including V-lookups, pivot tables, and data analysis
· Demonstrates a desire to continuously improve accounting and financial reporting skills through proactive professional development efforts
· Ability to work independently and creatively
Preferred Job Qualifications:
· CPA or master’s degree
· Healthcare industry experience
· Experience with reimbursement and revenue cycle
