The Financial Analyst position will have an active role in the monthly reporting and analysis, along with reporting, budgeting, forecasting, projections and pricing.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statements, forecast, etc.) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing.
• Oversee preparation and analysis of the monthly reporting package and monthly department reports.
• Manage the annual budgeting process
• Providing creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce cuts and improve financial performance.
• Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
• Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
• Actual vs Budget comparison and GL account reconciliation
• Identify trends, advise company, and recommend actions to Senior Management team based on sound analysis.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned; Prepare financial reports, charts, tables, and other exhibits as requested.
• Work on pricing proposal for current-new customers

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:

Critical Operating Relationships:

This Financial Analyst will be under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Finance and Sr. Financial Analyst. This position will interact with Senior Management and other members of the management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

BA/BS in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

Experience:

Five or more years of progressive experience in financial analysis roles.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the “Big Picture” while working in the details. This requires the ability to work on a “Process” level while thinking “Organizationally”.
• Deadline conscious with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment.
• Overtime may be needed during peak periods as is typical with all financial and accounting positions.
• The self-confidence to interact through-out all levels of management.
• Understands the concept of “ownership” of assigned responsibilities.
• Must be an adaptive creative problem solver with the ability to evaluate various alternatives.
• Must be PC proficient and knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products with strong Excel skills. Experience with systems development helpful.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
