We are seeking a Financial Analyst to help drive improvements in standard costing processes.

This is a full-time direct hire opportunity where you will earn up to $90,000 based on your experience. Plus enjoy excellent benefits. This position is 100% onsite approximately 40-60 minutes from the Des Moines Metro area.

Some of your responsibilities as a Financial Analyst will include:

• Developing an in-depth understanding of projects from a process and accounting scope
• Providing analysis
• Revenue recognition analysis
• Understanding the business model and accounting requirements
• Maintaining, updating and monitoring standard cost and system updates
• Supporting monthly analysis, reporting and forecasting
• Leading quarterly cost reviews
• Working closely with team leaders, including supply chain to help inform decisions
• Partnering with manufacturing and purchasing to track cost saving initiatives
• Assisting with annual forecasting process
• Helping drive efficiency and effectiveness through the accounting processes
• Other duties as assigned

To qualify for the Financial Analyst position, you must have:

• Five (5) years related experience
• Knowledge of Power BI or analytical tools for analysis and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of financial systems and data structures
• Advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Power Point and Word)
