Role: Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis
Location: Remote (Colorado based)
About This Role:
Help build business maturity by joining a growing Financial Planning & Analysis Team. This role is a ground-level FP&A opportunity to join a fast-growing and maturing organization. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to Operational Analysis of various measurements and metrics, revealing the story behind the numbers, and translating data/information for deeper insights and analysis around business drivers and the connection(s) to end results. Key outcomes include cross-team collaboration in support of gross margin improvement and operating expense optimization.
The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, consistent, pays attention to the details, and focuses on follow-through by finishing tasks all the way through to completion. This position is a highly visible role that engages with Executives, Senior Leadership, and Management, among others.

Job Duties:**
- Leverage the Company’s EPM/CPM tool as well as other SaaS tools to accumulate accurate data
- Analyze data trends and ratios to find and report on meaningful KPI’s and KRI’s
- Collaborate with business partners on operational insights and facilitate value-add improvements
- Analyze budget vs actual variances and provide insights/explanations
- Support Merger & Acquisition analysis and reporting during due diligence and post-acquisition
- Contribute to the growth and development of the FP&A department
- Create and maintain consistent and comprehensive reporting
- Create and maintain financial models such as forecasts, KPI’s, KRI’s
- Creatively perform ad-hoc analysis and standardize meaningful reporting, as needed

Qualifications:**
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or similar field
- 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance role
- Knowledge of at least 1 accounting/ERP system
- Excellent organization skills and relentless attention to detail
- Proven ability to collaborate across teams/departments/divisions
- Professional competence in prioritizing/re-prioritizing, problem-solving, and communication
- Motivation to be a self-starter in reviewing iterative fact-sets and data sets for meaningful insights
- Dedicated home workspace for Remote work
- Proficiency in computer skills and the Microsoft suite of products
Job Type: Full-time / Hybrid or Fully Remote / Based in Colorado
Salary Range: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 (depending on education and experience)
