Financial Analyst (Sales Performance and Compensation) – Your Impact:
Your time will be split with the majority (60%) focused on executing commission calculations from CRM data, and the remainder (40%) dedicated to analyzing regional sales performance and delivering strategic findings.
You will:
- Accurately calculate and administer sales commission payouts for the entire sales team (about 100 employees), ensuring timely and correct compensation based on variable pay plans
- Develop and maintain detailed reporting to track quota attainment for individuals and teams, and analyze regional sales performance metrics
- Leverage Salesforce, HubSpot, and related systems to manage and report on pipeline coverage metrics, pipeline health, and sales forecasting predictability
- Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to evaluate the effectiveness of sales campaigns, lead quality, and conversion rates through the funnel
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that present sales, operational, and compensation insights
- Provide recommendations that optimize sales resource allocation, improve rep and regional performance, and enhance overall profitability
- Partner with department leaders to translate sales performance and compensation data into strategic insights
- Ensure data accuracy through ongoing review of sales data hygiene, lead enrichment, and process alignment, critical for accurate commission processing
- Monitor performance against sales budgets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Financial Analyst (Sales Performance and Compensation)- Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit
You have:
- Prior experience in a Sales Operations or Sales Compensation role performing complex analysis of sales and compensation data
- Strong expertise in MS Excel – multi-tab spreadsheets, complex formulas, vLookups, pivot tables
- Solid communication skills to effectively present findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Finance, or related
You might have:
- Experience with commission calculation software
- Prior experience pulling data from Salesforce for performance and compensation analysis
- Experience in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company
Financial Analyst (Sales and Compensation) – For You
Your compensation will be $90,000 to $115,000 base salary, depending on experience.
