    Are you interested in building a career in financial services while learning how to help individuals and families make more informed financial decisions? The Fortitude Team is looking for motivated, people-oriented individuals to join our team as Financial Consultant Trainees. This opportunity is designed for individuals who want to learn the financial services industry, develop professional skills, and grow into a client-facing financial consultant role. No previous financial services experience is required. Training, mentorship, coaching, and professional development are provided to help you learn financial concepts, understand available solutions, complete required licensing, and develop the skills needed to confidently work with clients. As you progress through training and licensing, you will learn how to identify client needs, educate individuals and families on financial concepts, and help them explore strategies related to financial protection, retirement preparation, wealth building, and long-term financial security. This is a remote, independent-contractor opportunity with flexible part-time and full-time pathways. Professional licensing is required to perform licensed activities. Responsibilities: Complete required training and professional licensing Participate in weekly coaching, mentorship, and professional development Meet virtually with individuals and families to understand their financial goals, priorities, and concerns Educate clients on financial concepts and available strategies after completing required training and licensing Help clients identify areas where additional financial protection or planning may be beneficial Assist clients in exploring solutions related to protection, retirement, savings, and long-term financial goals Build and maintain positive, long-term client relationships Provide ongoing client follow-up, education, and customer service Develop new relationships through referrals, networking, and community outreach Maintain accurate client information and follow-up activity Follow applicable licensing, compliance, and industry standards Qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Genuine interest in helping individuals and families Positive attitude and willingness to learn Coachable and receptive to feedback Self-motivated, dependable, and goal-oriented Comfortable communicating virtually and working remotely Able to manage time effectively and work independently Interested in professional development and career growth No previous financial services experience required Experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, education, healthcare, recruiting, or leadership is helpful but not required Must be willing and eligible to obtain required professional licensing Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
