The Connexa Search Group is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Greenville, South Carolina area to hire a Controller to lead their accounting and financial operations!

Overview:

The Controller will oversee all accounting functions, provide strategic financial insight, and support operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing accounting experience, a hands-on approach, and the ability to lead a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close, general ledger, and financial reporting processes
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Oversee cost accounting, inventory, and job costing functions
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Support audit preparation, banking relationships, and external reporting as needed
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and systems enhancements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment required
• Strong understanding of cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficient in ERP systems and Excel
• CPA or CMA preferred but not required
