    Our client, a manufacturing company, is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Financial Controller with expertise in cost accounting and operations functions.

    The Financial Controller will lead the company’s financial operations, with a focus on cost accounting, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.

    This individual will be part and work closely with the executive team to enhance financial performance, ensure compliance, and drive operational efficiency.

    The ideal candidate will bring a hands-on approach, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of financial processes within a manufacturing environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support company growth and profitability
    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
    • Manage cost accounting functions to ensure accurate product costing and pricing strategies
    • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to the executive team
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
    • Collaborate with operations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
    • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Develop and manage the annual budget in alignment with company goals
    • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
    • Support strategic initiatives through financial modeling and scenario analysis

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of experience in a senior financial management role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
    • Proven expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis
    • Strong understanding of operations and their financial impact
    • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex financial data
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence decision-making

    Location: Parsippany NJSalary: $150K
