    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of our rapidly growing staffing services company. The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls. This is a strategic role requiring a hands-on leader with deep experience in high-growth environments, preferably in the staffing, recruiting, or professional services industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, payroll, and general ledger

    • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process with timely and accurate reporting

    • Prepare consolidated financial statements and reports for executive leadership and investors

    • Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes

    • Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements

    • Manage internal controls and financial risk mitigation strategies

    • Supervise and mentor accounting team members, including senior accountants and analysts

    • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions

    • Implement systems and process improvements to support scale and efficiency

    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks

    • Support M&A activities, pricing strategies, and strategic initiatives as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)

    • CPA certification required

    • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a controller or similar leadership role

    • Experience in the staffing, recruitment, or professional services industry strongly preferred

    • Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar ERP)

    • Deep understanding of GAAP and regulatory standards

    • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams

    • Strong analytical, communication, and strategic thinking skills
