About the Role:

Visory is looking for a Financial Data Analyst with a strong background in data analytics, finance, and accounting. This role is ideal for someone who is just as comfortable building predictive models in Python or SQL as they are reconciling vendor costs or analyzing margins. You’ll work cross-functionally with Finance, Service, Procurement, and Systems teams to deliver actionable insights, automate reporting, and strengthen decision-making in a fast-paced managed services environment (MSP/MSSP).

What YOU will be Doing:

Profitability, Forecasting, & Budgeting

• Build profitability reports by client, project, and service line.
  
• Develop forecast and budget models using predictive analytics.
• Provide insights to improve margins and support vendor negotiations.
  
• Link analytics to KPIs (SLA compliance, utilization, unit economics).
  

Financial Modeling & Operational Finance

• Develop and maintain cost models for services, projects, and hardware/software resale.
  
• Perform reconciliations of vendor billing and COGS.
  
• Monitor cost variances, update pricing, and support billing approvals.
  
• Configure and maintain agreements in ERP/PSA systems (NetSuite, ConnectWise).
  

Business Intelligence & Data Analytics

• Design dashboards visualizing operational and financial KPIs.
  
• Extract, clean, and transform data from ERP/PSA/automation tools.
  
• Build automated workflows to reduce manual reporting.
  
• Partner with business teams to uncover insights around churn, SLA penalties, and retention risk.
  

Systems, Projects & Process Improvement

• Enhance ERP/PSA integrations (NetSuite, QuickBooks, ConnectWise).
  
• Automate recurring tasks with tools like Rewst and scripting (Python, SQL, PowerShell).
  
• Improve workflows and data normalization across platforms.
  
• Contribute to process documentation, controls, and audit readiness.
  

What YOU Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, or Data Science (preferred).
  
• 1-3 years’ experience in financial analysis or financial data analytics, with a solid understanding of accounting principals
  
• Strong financial modeling, cost analysis, and KPI interpretation.
  
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets; BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
  
• ERP/PSA experience (NetSuite, ConnectWise preferred).
  
• Proficiency with SQL; exposure to scripting (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript).
  
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to translate data insights for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong cross functional collaboration skills
