Position Summary
As an Operations Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the COO and senior leadership by delivering data-driven insights that enhance operational performance and financial outcomes. This role is ideal for a seasoned analyst with a strong understanding of healthcare operations, particularly in multi-site physical therapy or outpatient care settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze clinic-level and regional operational performance, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with operations, finance, and clinical leadership to evaluate business initiatives and model financial impact.
- Lead monthly reporting on KPIs such as revenue per visit, clinician productivity, and cost per encounter.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the organization.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to support decision-making.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and reports for the COO and Board.
- Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses for strategic initiatives (e.g., clinic expansion, staffing models).
- Collaborate with HR and compliance teams to align financial planning with workforce and regulatory considerations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or multi-site operations.
- Strong command of Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models, clinic operations, and productivity metrics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Experience working with EMR, ERP, or HRIS systems is a plus.
