Lion Insurance Company is currently seeking a Financial Planner & Analyst to join our team! The position will be required to perform a wide range of tasks to support our financial and compliance needs. This role requires an equal ability to work with data as well as be comfortable with writing reports that are succinct, articulate and targeted. The person will work closely with the CFO to complete a wide range of routines.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial research and reporting
• Prepare budget and forecast results
• Perform data mining and manipulation using Excel utilities
• Prepare rate filings
• Prepare claims analytics
• Conduct compliance reporting and ad hoc reporting
• Determine reinsurance needs
• Assist with presentations including PowerPoint
• Write and maintain policies and procedures manuals

Qualifications:

• Insurance Experience is a plus
• MS Office especially Work, Office, Excel & PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Discretion and confidentiality
