Responsibilities: • Collect each client’s financial information to determine financial status, financial goals, cash flow, and financial expectations • Customize financial plans for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs • Identify, seek, and establish prospects continuously and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor • Ensure exceptional customer service is provided to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given • Synthesize and present financial recommendations and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Work with the existing client base and lead flow to generate new business • Prospecting for clients through networking and referrals • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients • Providing financial solutions for clients through fact-gathering and needs analysis • Expanding personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates Qualifications: • Computer proficiency including MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is vital • Up-to-date knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is necessary • Proven success as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is essential • Exemplary communication skills, math skills, relationship skills, and customer service skills are vital • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or related field is required • Must be Series 7/6, Series 63/66 licensed and 215 licensed • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus • Market development/networking abilities • BA, BS, and/or graduate degree or equivalent work experience required Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
