Responsibilities: • Assist clients in implementing financial recommendations such as life insurance, mutual funds, savings plans, and other financial products • Develop and provide financial advice and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives • Gather each client’s financial information to determine financial status, cash flow, financial goals, and financial expectations • Identify, seek, and establish prospects continuously and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor • Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given • Work with the existing client base and lead flow to generate new business • Prospecting for clients through networking and referrals • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients • Providing financial solutions for clients through fact-gathering and needs analysis • Expanding personal knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates Qualifications: • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or related field • Exemplary communication skills, math skills, relationship skills, and customer service skills are vital • CPA license, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner license from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards) and FINRA Series 7 and 66, are required • Relevant knowledge of the financial industry, financial products, best practices, and tax regulations is vital • Experience with computer programs, such as MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is essential • Must be Series 7/6, Series 63/66 licensed and 215 licensed • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus • Market development/networking abilities • BA, BS, and/or graduate degree or equivalent work experience required Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000
