  • Responsibilities

    The Financial Planning Analyst/Specialist specializes in financial planning and will be primarily responsible for creating and delivering complex client financial plans using our planning tools, for our advisors, allowing the advisors to focus on building client relationships. Success in this role looks like supporting 4+ financial advisors in preparation for 30-40 meetings per week. This includes developing creative recommendations and solutions to enhance clients' financial plans. Responsibilities: • Prepare advisors for their client meetings on a weekly basis • Utilize planning software to develop and track complex financial plans • Develop financial plans generated from lead advisors, fact finders, and the scope of engagement • Work with the advisor and client to gather essential elements for the planning process • Develop complex analysis and models using Excel • Ability to create deliverables that support recommendations, including both insurance illustrations and investment proposals • Ability to develop diagrams and PowerPoint for client delivery • Continue to stay up to date on industry planning standards, trends, and best practices Technical Skills & Expertise • Financial planning software acumen • Risk Management (personal insurance) • Estate Planning • Equity Compensation • Annuities • Retirement Planning • Education Planning • Public Market Investment Planning • Charitable Planning Daily Time Spent • 80% building client plans and deliverables • 20% case prepping with lead advisors Qualifications: • Colorado Life & Health, Series 7, Series 63 • CFP, CFA, or MBA preferred • 2 Years of industry experience preferred Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly
