    Job Description

    Financial Recovery Technologies is a technology-based services firm that helps institutional investors identify, file claims, and collect funds made available in securities class action settlements. Through our proprietary technology platform and processes, we deliver the most comprehensive range of securities class action filing services available.     We are currently seeking a business and tech-savvy professional to work with our institutional investor clients and their service partners to ensure that our data on-boarding processes are smooth, rapid, and error-free. The Data Integration Team facilitates the onboarding of new clients by gathering and reviewing client transaction and holdings data. The team also directly impacts data quality by ensuring existing client data is regularly refreshed. This role is crucial in ensuring that clients have an excellent onboarding experience and that the data gathered is of the highest quality possible in order to maximize client recoveries.

    The Role: As DATA INTEGRATION SPECIALIST, you will be our clients’ primary point of contact for all things data related throughout their lifetime with FRT. The right candidate has a strong mix of technical and client-facing skills, as they will be responsible for:

    Gathering and analyzing client financial data

    • Design and execute data gathering strategy for new clients
    • Perform quality verification on client data
    • Use 3rd party data integration software (Astera Centerprise) to create data flows that map client data to FRT’s Oracle databases
    • Manage and execute client data refresh schedule

    Building strong relationships with stakeholders and data providers

    • Act as a liaison between internal FRT teams, clients, and data providers
    • Develop connections with custodians to expedite data collection and reconciliation
    • Advocate for greater automation in data gathering with clients and data providers
    • Assist the team by documenting workflows and working to improve how things are done on an ongoing basis

    OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF WORK EXPERIENCE AND CAN DEMONSTRATE:

    • Proficiency with Excel and other data formats
    • Experience with data management
    • Experience with data mapping
    • Experience working in a matrix environment
    • SQL experience running a pre-written script and running stored procedures
    • An ability to keep several concurrent projects organized
    • High attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Client-facing experience
    • Ability to execute tasks both independently and collaboratively across different teams
    • Intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
