How we will compensate you. At New York Life, your income potential is performance-driven and entirely in your hands, thanks to our commission-based compensation structure. In 2023, agents working under the N8 and N9 Agents’ Contract who met annual minimum sales production requirements earned an average income of $117,359. Your income will reflect your individual success and effort. Full-time agents are also eligible for a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus access to a 401(k) and pension plan.
