How we will compensate you. At New York Life, your earning potential is performance-driven and fully in your control through our commission-based compensation structure. In 2024, agents operating under the N8 and N9 Agents’ Contracts who met the annual minimum sales production requirements earned an average income of $120,555. Your income will directly reflect your individual effort and success. Full-time agents are also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as access to a 401(k) and pension plan.
