About the Role As a Financial Professional with New York Life’s Louisiana General Office, you will work with individuals, families, and small businesses to help address financial goals and needs such as income protection, retirement planning, college funding, and wealth accumulation. This is a performance-driven sales role focused on building long-term client relationships and delivering financial solutions tailored to client needs. Training & Development New York Life invests in the development of its Financial Professionals from the start. Compensation Compensation is commission-based and tied to individual performance. Eligible Financial Professionals may qualify for a Training Allowance Subsidy during the early stages of their career, subject to program guidelines. In 2024, the average income of financial professionals under the N8 and N9 Agent Contracts who met annual minimum sales production requirements was $120,555 (based on company data). Compensation is not guaranteed and is dependent upon individual sales production and performance. Details of the compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
