Join Our Team: Call Center Financial Service Officer Wanted

This role involves answering member inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service, all while seizing opportunities to cross-sell our credit union products, especially lending offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone and email.
• Resolve member complaints efficiently and route calls to the appropriate personnel when needed.
• Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities, contributing to our credit union's growth.
• Conduct member loan interviews, assess financial needs, and explain loan options.
• Assist members with account openings, closings, and product-related inquiries.
• Provide backup support on the teller line, processing financial transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawers
• Ensure compliance with lending and account terms.
• Stay informed about industry trends and laws related to lending and consumer credit.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A high school education or equivalent
• Six months to two years of similar or related experience in a financial institution.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

• Knowledge of Teller policies and procedures.
• Basic understanding of Credit Union operations.
• Good understanding of financial services and products provided.
• Knowledge of Credit Union loan services, policies, and procedures.
• Understanding of related legal and regulatory standards, and required loan documentation.
• Knowledge of consumer lending practices
