    Position Title: AZDCS – Redaction Coordinator Department: Financial and Administration – Field Support Services Administration (FSSA), Department of Child Safety (DCS)

    Position Overview: The Arizona Department of Child Safety (AZDCS) is seeking a Redaction Coordinator to support the Case Records & Correspondence Unit (CRCU). The role will focus on reviewing sensitive documents involving child abuse and neglect cases, ensuring compliance with redaction standards and privacy regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Review case documents involving child abuse and neglect.

    Redact sensitive information including:

    Source of report

    Attorney-Client Privileged communication

    DPS (Department of Public Safety) results

    Social Security Numbers

    Child Placement details

    Maintain a minimum daily output of 450–900 pages reviewed.

    Achieve and sustain a 98% accuracy rate.

    Perform consistent, standardized, and repetitious redaction work.

    Collaborate with the Public Records Coordinator (PRC) and other internal teams.

    Required Skills:

    Basic computer proficiency

    Attention to detail and ability to follow strict guidelines

    Strong reading comprehension and focus in repetitive tasks

    Preferred Skills:

    Experience with Adobe Acrobat (PDF redaction)

    Familiarity with SharePoint

    Prior experience in public records or document review is a plus

    Additional Notes:

    No interviews will be conducted — candidates will be selected directly based on qualifications.

    This is a hybrid role, but work will be primarily based in Phoenix, AZ.
