    ****Position Overview:

    Annapolis Orthodontics is a doctor-owned, single-location practice serving the wonderful community of Annapolis, MD. We believe creating beautiful smiles starts with creating a great experience—for our patients and our team.

    We’re seeking a professional, organized, and team-oriented Financial and Operations Manager to be the heart of our financial and operational workflows.     ****Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee and manage all patient payment processes, including ACH transactions
    • Verify and manage insurance benefits and claims
    • Manage billing, insurance claims, and patient accounts with accuracy and efficiency
    • Help patients fully understand their financial options and feel confident about their treatment plans
    • Serve as the go-to resource for billing and insurance questions—explaining details clearly and kindly
    • Maintain organized, up-to-date financial and insurance records in our practice management system
    • Oversee facility operations, including maintenance, repairs, inventory management, and vendor coordination, to ensure a clean, safe, and functional environment
    • Act as the primary contact to address hardware/software issues and coordinate timely resolutions
    • Provide daily front office support to include answering phones, scheduling, patient follow-up, patient paperwork, etc.
    • Support the team with additional responsibilities as needed to ensure smooth operations

    • Understanding of accounts receivable, insurance billing, and patient financial arrangements
    • Strong technical proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    • Complies with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable federal, state and local regulations

    Preferred:

    • Bachelor's degree
    • Experience with dental or orthodontic financial/insurance coordination
    • Proficient with orthodontic practice management software

    ****What We Offer:

    • 4-day work week (Monday-Thursday), 32 hours
    • Pay Rate: $27-$30 per hour
