    This Equipment Technician position is posted on behalf of our client, Scott Equipment.

    We have openings for Field Service Technicians and Service Technicians at our La Vergne, TN location.

    Field Service Technicians Responsibilities

    This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in field, machinery diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, work overtime and weekends on occasion.

    Service Technician Responsibilities

    This individual is responsible for performing diagnostics and repair of construction equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, and following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, and also work overtime and weekends occasionally.

    Technician Qualifications

    • Excellent mechanical skills preferred

    • Diesel and hydraulic systems experience preferred

    • Willingness to learn

    • Current and valid driver’s license as outlined in company policy manual

    • Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment

    • Strong computer skills

    • Excellent customer service skills

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    • Strong organizational skills
