    Job Description

    Currently seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join it’s Software Development organization as its Lead Software Test Engineer.

    This individual will be responsible for requirements analysis, test design, test execution, and issue resolution for its respiratory delivery systems.

    The Lead Software Test Engineer will develop and implement verification & validation test protocols and automation programs supporting embedded and application software systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and execute the overall software testing process.
    • Design product integration and verification strategies that ensure complete coverage of critical medical device functionality and performance.
    • Plan and prioritize multiple concurrent software release tests, integration, and verification activities leading the software test team to execute against product test plans.
    • Provide critical feedback on requirements specifications. Develop and execute test plans, test protocols, and manual / automation tests that demonstrate each product/system software release meets all specifications and requirements.
    • Develops owns, and maintains traceability between test steps and requirements.
    • Performs anomaly investigations & develops applicable test cases to ensure appropriate coverage levels in test protocols. Propose, define, and implement processes and standards for improved test automation in line with Continuous Test, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
    • Coordinates with the development team during technical design to maximize automated test support.
    • Stays current in software verification, validation, and software test best practices and standards.

    Qualifications:

    • MS in an engineering discipline. Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
    • 10+ years of software test experience preferably in the regulated industry.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Experience developing test, integration, and verification strategies for safety-critical products. Familiarity with ventilators is a plus.
    • Expertise in developing manual and automated electromechanical tests and testing systems.
