We are a group of clinicians who are passionate about helping clients meet their personal goals. The requested start date is July or sooner. Responsibilities include providing all services required as a therapist such as conducting intake assessments, facilitating groups (preferred but not required), parent training (if working with children/teens), treatment and discharge planning, and documentation of client care. Our ideal candidate has 1-3 years of experience working with behavioral health patients. We are especially interested in candidates who have interest and/or experience in marketing their services and have worked in private practice before. We are a cash pay practice and do not accept insurance at this time. Apply now Responsibilities: • Our Postdoctoral Residency provides the opportunity to work in a private practice setting, engage in long-term psychotherapeutic work, and increase professional confidence and competence while simultaneously receiving specialized training & mentorship in preparation for practicing as a licensed psychologist • Postdoctoral Residents will provide therapy services for clients with a variety of presenting issues. Specialization in child and adolescent therapy is a plus but is not required. The ability to conduct psychological assessments is preferred as well, but again not required • Postdoctoral Residents receive weekly supervision as well as specialty training in cognitive behavioral therapy, mentorship in opening and maintaining a private practice, and psychological assessment (if preferred) • Postdoctoral Residents will complete all required supervision and clinical contact hours for license application within the one-year postdoctoral residency period. Postdoctoral residents are preferred candidates for future licensed, long-term positions within the practice • Clients are pleasant, motivated individuals who are seeking treatment for a variety of presenting issues. Postdoctoral Residents must provide individual therapy, however, family, group, and couples therapy are not required but preferred. Clients who are not clinically appropriate for our areas of expertise are referred to other specialty clinics • We operate as a cash-pay practice and do not accept insurance. Therefore, as a resident, you also have better earning potential than at most clinics at the pre-licensed level Qualifications: • Have valid US work authorization • Must have a doctoral degree in Psychology • Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills • Have the ability and desire to work a flexible schedule • Have experience writing session notes, assessments, and reports • Interest in working 1-2 evenings and/or a weekend morning is a plus Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 yearly
