    We are looking for an experienced and passionate General Manager, experienced in Fine Dining, to join our team! MUST HAVE FINE DINING EXPERIENCE This position is for our sister company, Savory Catering. The restaurant is a private club/steakhouse inside one of our client's offices in downtown Dallas.

    To be successful as a General Manager, you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests.

    The work setting is a high-end service, steakhouse inspired location, private club. Hours typically are Mon- Fri 2pm-11pm. Compensation: $80k annually.

    General Manager Responsibilities:

    Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation.

    Deliver exceptional guest services, ensuring guest satisfaction.

    Visible and hands on in the front of house ensuring a strong presence with FOH staff and customers. Taking an active part in guest service duties as needed.

    Effectively delegate tasks to staff and follow up to ensure completion.

    Assists in recruiting and retaining staff. As well as ensuring that the restaurant is staffed to properly to meet and exceed sales goals.

    Terminating employees when necessary.

    Scheduling shifts, ensuring proper staff for nightly reservations and events.

    Manage restaurant supplies including smallware’s; maintain inventory.

    Create and nurture a positive working environment .

    Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity, sales, and food quality.

    Plan client parties/events, handle reservations, and tours.

    Ability to assess where in the restaurant you may be needed at any given time.

    Must possess strong knowledge and adhere to local health, food, and TABC regulations.

    Must possess strong time management, technology, and communication skills.

    Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints.

    Any other duties deemed necessary.

    General Manager Qualifications/Skills:

    Previous experience (7 years minimum) managing in a fine dining environment.

    Servsafe Management Certification Required, as well as a TABC Certification.

    Have strong knowledge of health code, responsible alcohol service, computer operations and time management.

    Extensive food and wine knowledge.

    Strong leadership, motivational and people skills.

    Good financial management skills; Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

    Good time-management skills.

    Great interpersonal and communication skills.

    Authorized to work in the United States.
