    D.J. Bitzan Jewelers is hiring a full-time Sales Consultant who can create an amazing experience that results in sales—because we’re not looking for someone to just “show jewelry.” We’re looking for someone who can listen, connect, guide, and make sales. Who This Role Is For: You’re the kind of person who: • Can make a customer feel instantly comfortable… and still confidently help them move toward a decision. • Likes goals and doesn’t get weird about the word “sales.” • Notices what needs doing and does it—without waiting to be asked. • Can handle busy Saturdays with steady energy and standards. Compensation: $18 - $24 per hour = monthly sales bonus based on individual sales and store performance. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Greet customers quickly and warmly, then build genuine rapport. • Ask great questions, listen well, and guide customers to the right jewelry solution. • Recommend products and services naturally (not pushy—effective). • Consistently sell to meet or exceed individual and store goals. • Support engagement ring and bridal consultations, custom design conversations, and special orders. • Take in jewelry repairs and service requests with accuracy and urgency. • Create and update customer profiles, document sales, and manage follow-ups. • Process transactions (cash/check/credit), returns, and exchanges confidently through our POS system. • Keep showcases sparkling, fully stocked, and looking sharp. • Help with opening/closing procedures and keeping the showroom clean and beautiful. Qualifications: What “Great” Looks Like Here: • You close sales. You don’t just assist. • You follow up without being reminded. You take ownership. • You build repeat customers because people genuinely like you and trust you. • You stay consistent—even when it’s slammed. • You sell with honesty and integrity. What We’re Looking For: • Strong communication skills (in person, phone, email, text). • Self-motivated, dependable, high-energy, and coachable. • Comfortable with sales goals and performance expectations. • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask. • Basic math skills; comfortable using POS and customer database systems. • Retail, hospitality, or sales experience preferred—but not required if you’re hungry to learn and you’re good with people. • Team-oriented: able to give and accept support. Collaborative. Positive energy for all. • Is looking for a career, is excited about learning new skills, and is interested in professional development. Qualifications: • At least 2 years of consultative, customer-facing sales experience, selling products with clear features and benefits, is required; jewelry sales experience is not mandatory—we'll provide comprehensive training and ongoing learning opportunities! • Though weekend and early evening availability is required, we are closed when most retailers are open (with 6 paid holidays each year for most staff), and our hours are much more enjoyable than those of many retailers. (Regular hours that we are open to serve customers are Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM, Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM. Sales staff have a scheduled weekday off. Extended hours during events and in December.) Compensation: $18 - $24 per hour plus bonus

    $42,000-$85,000 per year
