Overview

Dan Luna Exceptional Woodworking has been serving California's Orange Coast homeowners for over 30 years with luxury design and the highest quality fabrication and installation.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finish and Trim Carpenter Apprentice to join our installation team.

The ideal candidate will possess the basic skills and experience in finish and trim carpentry installation for residential projects, as well as a desire to become a journey-level finish carpenter.

Responsibilities

Assist with the installation of finish and trim carpentry, including:

Interior/exterior doors, window/door casings, cabinetry, built-ins, mantels, stairs, ceilings, baseboards, crown, wainscoting, & more.

Learn from the senior team how to execute projects with precision:

Joints & seams: Tight miters and consistent reveals — no gaps

Profiles & lines: Same profiles throughout, straight and level

Exceptional prep, finish, and fit

Ensure structural integrity and adherence to design specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.

Unload cabinetry and materials at the job site and stage items for installation.

Utilize hand and power tools for cutting, shaping, and installing materials.

Collaborate with other tradespeople on the job site to ensure seamless project execution.

Maintain an organized, hazard-free work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Utilize software to record project progress and attendance.

Consistently display an exceptional work ethic.

Qualifications / Requirements

Basic skills and experience in finish and trim carpentry.

Familiarity with construction site practices and safety regulations.

Ability to perform the physical demands as required by the carpentry profession.

Additional

Full-time | Monday - Friday | 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Hourly Pay Range $22.00 - $26.00 (Apprentice)

Must have a vehicle and a current driver's license.

Must be able to report to different job sites as needed.
