  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ● Adhere to the schedule as directed by the Production Supervisor.

    ● Operate various finishing equipment as needed.
    ● Thoroughly read, understand, and follow all procedures related to each function performed.
    ● Perform quality inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and product standards.
    ● Report any orders with incorrect or missing instructions to the Finishing Lead or Supervisor before
    proceeding.
    ● Accurately fill out Quality Control (QC) forms established for the process/machine in operation.
    ● Isolate and quarantine nonconforming products, report to the Finishing Lead, and follow the
    corresponding procedures.
    ● Maintain performance within established ranges for waste and productivity.
    ● Ensure uniformity and quality across each order.
    ● Record all press-related times and footage using the iPad interface for accurate tracking and documentation.
    ● Conduct a line clearance at the end of each order.
    ● Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
    ● Complete required training according to the job position’s training path.
    ● Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment as needed to ensure smooth operation.
    ● Identify and troubleshoot mechanical problems related to packaging equipment.
    ● Overtime Authorization and Requirement - Unauthorized approval in advance of working overtime and repeated refusal to work overtime are violations of company policy.

    Qualifications

    ● High school diploma/equivalent.
    ● Six months to a year of related experience and/or training.
