Finishing Production Supervisor - 2nd Shift - Ripon, WI (onsite)
Overview:
- We are seeking a results-driven Production Supervisor to lead and support our high-performance production team in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. - As a Finishing Production Supervisor - 2nd shift, you will be the first line leader to support team members within your area/zone. You will be responsible for coordinating safe and efficient day-to-day activities in order to maintain scheduled production requirements and to ensure your team is safe and successful.
- This position will be based in Ripon, WI. This position will be on 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 1:00am. There may be occasional overtime required on Fridays from 1:00pm-9:00pm.
Primary duties:
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, EPA standards).
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety standards and any regulatory changes.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Ensure that appropriate PPE is available and used correctly by employees. This might include bump caps, gloves, eye protection, or any other equipment necessary for specific tasks.
- Promote ergonomic practices to prevent injuries related to repetitive motions or poor posture, such as adjustable workstations, proper seating, and regular breaks.

- Desires to eliminate waste and to develop team member skill to improve lean operations
- Ensure that employees are properly trained by their Team Leader or other designated trainers in the areas of safety, quality, equipment operation and 6S
- Interface with technical staff to ensure proper support
- Establish annual goals and objectives that support the attainment of operating metrics
- Work to continuously improve processes and reduce inventories and work in progress
- Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding employee relations issues
- Interface with Union Stewards in contract and discipline issues
- Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering or Operations is preferred.
- Proven history of ability to lead with a servant leadership mindset.
- 1-3 years of experience in a high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Previous manufacturing supervision experience would be preferred.
- Must be self-driven and ambitious with proven leadership capabilities, including providing coaching, mentoring and supervision within a team environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
