Note: This is a hybrid role that will require visits to worksite locations throughout the sate of Indiana. Candidates should be located near Indianapolis or Bloomington, Indiana.

Finney Hospitality Group is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organization. You will be responsible for financial analysis, financial statement preparation, bank reconciliation, and overall financial management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and possess excellent financial acumen.

Duties

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes

Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making

Work with outside accounting firms to assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Preferred Experience

Experience working in the Restaurant/Hospitality industry (in any position) strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA designation preferred)

Proven experience in financial analysis, financial statement preparation, and bank reconciliation

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficient in using accounting software

Familiarity with corporate finance concepts and securities law

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
