Job Description

Software Engineer internship at a Fin-tech Startup for college credit only. Internship is remote and unpaid. Location of the candidate is not important as long as candidate is located in US. Internship starts in Fall semester 08/28/2021

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Computer Science / STEM, BS/ MS program in very High ranking school only!!. IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS CRITERIA, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY
• Proficient in at least two programming language with a focus on web development and backend (Python,Java,C++ JavaScript, CSS, HTML)
• Familiar with modern backend web development tools and frameworks available in proficient languages e.g. Node.JS, Django, React, Angular etc.
• Familiar with database systems, Big data e.g. SQLite, Postgres, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, Spark.
• Good understanding of software architecture, object oriented design, and industry best practices.
• Aptitude for programming demonstrated through projects or prior work experience.
• Ability to complete a coding exercise as part of the application process.
• Team player with positive attitude and energy.
• Deadline-oriented approach.
• Min 25 hours a week.
• Fall 2021 semester internship.
