Job Description

Software Engineer internship at a Fin-tech Startup for college credit only. Internship is remote and unpaid. Location of the candidate is not important as long as candidate is located in US. Internship starts in first week of Nov 2020.

Requirements

· Must be enrolled in a CS/STEM Master’s or PHD program in a high ranking school

· Proficient in at least two programming language with a focus on web development and backend (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, CSS, HTML,C++,C)

· Familiar with modern web development tools and frameworks available in proficient languages e.g. React, Angular, Flask, Rails

· Familiar with database systems, Big data  e.g. SQLite, Postgres, MongoDB, Apache Kafka, Spark.

· Good understanding of software architecture, object oriented design, and industry best practices.

· Aptitude for programming demonstrated through projects or prior work experience

· Ability to complete a coding exercise as part of the application process

· Team player with positive attitude and energy

· Deadline-oriented approach
