    Job Description

    Fiona Hutton & Associates (FHA) is looking for a highly driven and innovative creative professional to join our Los Angeles-based agency as Marketing Manager. This position is currently envisioned as part-time (hours/time commitment to be determined with candidate) and will be responsible for overseeing all external marketing for the agency – expanding FHA’s brand awareness, industry positioning, community engagement and mission.

    Recognized as one of the nation’s top independent communications and public affairs firms, FHA specializes in reputation management, policy and legislative advocacy, corporate PR, public outreach campaigns, crisis management and litigation support – and works on some of the west coast’s most high profile and compelling issues, including health equity and access, the digital divide, drought awareness, climate resiliency and much more. FHA consistently earns high marks in annual national rankings of public relations agencies, including 6th in PR Week’s list of Top 10 US Public Affairs agencies. Growing at a rapid pace, FHA has created this new position to support expanded business development and marketing outreach.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

     

    ·       Manage and protect all elements of the FHA brand

    ·       Manage/update FHA style guide and ensure compliance with brand guidelines

    ·       Design new business proposals

    ·       Create/update agency capabilities presentations

    ·       Create/update agency client case studies

    ·       Package a cohesive set of proprietary products/services/best practices & training tools

    ·       Oversee management of marketing database with support from administrative staff

    ·       Manage company’s quarterly e-newsletter program/distribution and track metrics

    ·       Oversee/manage website updates

    ·       Oversee/create marketing videos

    ·       Oversee and package agency award submittals

    ·       Coordinate head shots and bios for new employees; manage annual agency photo shoot

    ·       Create ads for sponsorships (tribute books, events, conferences, panels, etc.)

    ·       Create social media cards/posts (new hires, promotions, new products/services, etc.)

    ·       Manage social media brand channels for agency (Twitter & LinkedIn)

    ·       Manage/oversee vendors including photographers, videographers, graphic designers, and printers

     

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 5+ years of experience in marketing and design, preferable with a marketing firm/ad agency or professional services firm
    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, graphic design/visual arts or related experience
    • Strong experience in Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Experience managing corporate social media channels
    • Experience with professional video editing software (Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.)
    • Keen understanding and interest in evolving design trends and landscape
    • Awareness of importance of and commitment to driving culture – natural team builder by nature
    • Excellent writing skills and attention to details
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; articulate and able to communicate clearly and effectively with agency CEO and senior team
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities/projects
    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal teams
