    Job Description

    General Office Assistant Fire Safety First is looking to hire a full time enthusiastic, talented, and personable  General Office Assistant to join our team.  The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake various office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion and incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.  Responsibilities:

    • Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
    • Organizing the office and assisting associates in optimizing processes
    • Sorting and distributing communications on time
    • Using "back-office" computer systems (ERP software)
    • Assist with data entry for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
    • Electronic Filing

    Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, virtual assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
    • Knowledge of "back-office" computer systems (ERP software)
    • Working knowledge of office equipment
    • Thorough understanding of office management procedures
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficiency in Office 365
    • Attention to Detail

    • Monday to Friday require up to 6 hours a day/30 hours a week
