Contracts Sales Representative — Fire Sprinkler & Alarm/Detection (Life Safety)
Base: $70,000–$110,000 USD + Car allowance
Bonus Potential: $50,000–$90,000+ USD (uncapped/goal-based)

We’re growing our Life Safety sales team and are hiring a Contracts Sales Rep to own and grow contract revenue across Fire Sprinkler and Alarm/Detection offerings. If you know NFPA, win with GCs/Owners/AHJs, and excel at turning bid/spec or design-build opportunities into booked margin—this role is for you.
What you’ll do
- Own the full sales cycle: prospect → qualify → scope/estimate → propose → close → handoff.
- Fire Sprinkler: pursue service/inspection/retrofit/TI and small projects; coordinate surveys, estimates, and submittals.
- Alarm/Detection: sell monitoring, inspections, upgrades, and code-driven remediation; partner with engineering on device layout and sequences.
- Build a partner ecosystem with GCs, MEPs, property managers, end-users, and AHJs; maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline in CRM.
- Hit quota on bookings, revenue, and gross margin while protecting scope and change-order discipline.
- Draft proposals/contracts, align on terms, and ensure clean turnover to operations for on-time, on-budget delivery.
What you bring
- 7-10+ years in Life Safety contracts sales (Fire Sprinkler and/or Alarm/Detection).
- Proven wins in inspection/service agreements, small projects, and multiyear contracts.
- Working knowledge of NFPA codes, local ordinances, and AHJ processes; strong precon/estimating skills.
- Ability to read plans/specs, conduct walkthroughs, and scope retrofit work.
- CRM discipline (Salesforce/HubSpot/etc.), pipeline accuracy, and forecast hygiene.
- Valid driver’s license; regional travel to customers/job sites.
Nice to have
- NICET (I/II/III) in Water-Based Systems or Fire Alarm.
- Experience with bid/spec and design-build pursuits.
- Existing book of business/relationships in your territory.
