A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer to help them design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality fire protection systems that keep people and property safe. In this role, you’ll contribute to projects across commercial, industrial, and residential markets while growing your technical skills alongside experienced designers and engineers at their Irvine, CA office.

Position also available in Honolulu, HI, Palo Alto, CA and Mesa, AZ. 

Your Day Includes

• Designing automatic fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, foam, and fire pump systems

• Coordinating sprinkler designs with building structures and other MEP subcontractors

• Performing hydraulic calculations to ensure code-compliant system performance

• Detailing designs for fabrication and preparing installation drawings

• Preparing accurate as-built drawings for internal archives and client records

Must Haves

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Diploma in Fire Protection Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

• NICET Level I or II certification in Fire Sprinkler Design

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software with strong communication and project management skills
