Job Summary

We are seeking a full-time fire sprinkler fitter to join our team. Looking for fitters that are trust-worthy, hard-working and has experience in the construction, plumbing, or fire protection industry.

Candidates may be required to travel up to an hour each way to job site. We serve the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC area with most of our work in DC and Northern VA.

Responsibilities

Install pipe systems and valves

Cut, thread, assemble and bond pipes and tubes according to specifications

Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings

Remove and replace worn components

Follow blueprints to meet product specifications

Calculate material measurements to verify specification

Perform commercial fire sprinkler installations to the appropriate code

Being aware at customer's location to identify any non-compliance issues and reporting them appropriately

Other job duties as needed

Qualifications

1 year of related experience as a sprinkler fitter preferred

High school degree or equivalent

Valid Driver's License with clean driving record

Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge

Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work overhead and in tight spaces

Experience in laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping systems is a plus.

Must be able to communicate well with customers and be responsive and professional to customer requests

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Ability to adhere to all safety rules and regulations

Must be dependable, trust-worthy and hard working with a desire to continue to learn.
