    Summary :
    The Sprinkler Foreman is responsible for leading and managing crews in the installation and servicing of fire sprinkler systems and related equipment. This includes overseeing layout, retrofit, and system integration work while ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes. The Foreman assigns tasks, monitors progress, and provides training and mentorship to crew members. They promote a strong safety culture, troubleshoot and repair systems, interface with customers, and ensure accurate documentation and inventory management. **

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**
    • Lead and manage crews on job sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with design specifications and applicable codes.
    • Assign daily tasks, monitor progress, and provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members.
    • Perform installation, takeover, or retrofit per design
    • Interface sprinkler system with fire alarm system or monitoring device
    • Capable for troubleshooting, identifying, and repairing systems as required to meet state and local codes
    • Perform test(s) to verify correct function system-wide
    • Visually inspect all system components, connections, links, heads, pumps, and valves, and configuration of system installation
    • Interface with customers to explain work to be performed, answer their questions and address their concerns in a knowledgeable and respectful manner
    • Promote a culture of safety by enforcing company safety policies and procedures, and ensuring proper use of PPE and equipment.
    • Keep vehicle neat, clean and organized at all times
    • Perform routine inventory checks of tools, equipment, parts, devices and paperwork
    • Completes all required paperwork such as inspection reports, S.O.'s, timesheets, etc. thoroughly, neatly and submits completed paperwork daily.
    • Attends all required company meetings.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Experience and Skills:**
    • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • Required: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
    • Required: 5+ years related experience
    • Preferred: Sprinkler Apprenticeship program graduate,
    • Preferred: Advanced Technical School Training
    • Preferred Certification: NICET Level 2
    • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Demonstrate integrity, honesty
    • Mechanical skills and aptitude
    • Proficient in basic computer skills
    • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Able to interact with all levels being served
    • Able to adapt behavior to different people and situations. Be flexible by adjusting interpersonal approaches appropriate to the manager/employee **

    Physical Demands:**
    • Work is mostly performed in an outdoor setting with some tasks in an office environment.
    • Hand-eye Coordination is necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment.
    • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms.
    • Frequently required to stand and talk or hear, walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell.
    • Operate power tools and equipment to include drills, saws, threading machines, grooving machines, etc.
    • Operate mobile lifts as required.
    • Must be able to climb ladders and work heights.
    • Occasionally lift up to one-hundred (100) pounds.
    • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. **

    Work Environment:**
    • Normally works in outside weather conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and in high, precarious places.
    • Exposure to wet and humid conditions, airborne particles and confined spaces.
