    Role Overview:

    Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will ensure all systems operate efficiently and comply with applicable safety codes and regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems
    • Diagnose system issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements
    • Install new fire sprinkler systems and components as needed
    • Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards and local/state fire codes
    • Complete service reports, inspection documentation, and compliance records accurately
    • Coordinate with customers, contractors, and team members to schedule and complete jobs
    • Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner
    • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working condition
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 3+ years of experience in fire sprinkler systems or a related field
    • NICET certification in Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance of Water-Based Systems required

    Competencies:

    • Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire protection standards
    • Ability to read blueprints and system schematics
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Working Conditions:

    • Indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to high and low temperatures
    • Exposure to noise and dust
    • Must be able to bend, climb, and work in confined spaces
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
    • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, or working in awkward positions
