Job Description

Are you a web developer looking to learn how to develop web components in an enterprise environment? Are you looking to expand your knowledge and utilize the skills you have to contribute to customer facing web portals? This position will allow you to be a real contributor on customer facing web applications for our intelligence portal. In this role, you'll work on developing and releasing to production UI and backend components to enhance the Intelligence portal experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop web UI components using React, JavaScript and CSS
• Develop backend services and logic to feed the data needed in the UI using Ruby.
• Perform unit tests on the work you have developed.
• Work with QA and other developers to produce high quality solutions and guide the features to release

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in two or more of the following technologies:
  • JavaScript
  • React
  • Ruby
  • Ruby on Rails
• Proven development skills in school or freelance projects
• 1-2 years web development skills
• Good communication skills
• Must be a continuing college or university student in good standing at an accredited institution pursuing an undergraduate degree

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Willing to work with stakeholders to design, develop, demo, rinse and repeat.
• Use of development technologies such as GitHub, Jenkins, RSpec, and UI test frameworks
