    Job Description

    Technical Intelligence Triage Analysts are responsible for interfacing directly with customers to field and scope threat intelligence questions, managing and prioritizing requests, providing actionable, clear, and concise intelligence, and equipping the greater FireEye intelligence team with the necessary context to empower successful intelligence reporting.

    The ideal candidate will possess a background in cyber threat intelligence, will have excellent writing skills, and will be able to defend his/her analytical conclusions in logical and persuasive terms. The Analyst should be a strong communicator and comfortable interfacing with people and will be highly organized and able to manage concurrent tasks and tight deadlines. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Triaging of new customer requests for intelligence, determining scope and available resources
    • Answering requests for intelligence
    • Track customer requests from start to finish and engage with customers directly
    • Ensure timely response to all suspense deadlines and administrative actions
    • Provide cogent cyber threat intelligence analysis to enterprise clients and various internal teams in written and oral form
    • Create custom analytic products based on conclusions and judgments derived from large quantities of FireEye Intelligence data sources and independent research
    • Provide timely support for clients’ incident response, hunting, threat intelligence teams by collecting relevant intelligence and/or performing unique research and providing analysis
    • Provide some level of off-hours support for customer requests on a rotating basis
    • Use knowledge, creativity, and analytic tradecraft best practices to obtain solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible variables under conditions of uncertainty
    • Responsible for maintaining confidentiality and ethics within the framework of the engagement
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 1-3 (or more) years intelligence experience
    • An engaging personality supported by an inquisitive, analytical mind
    • Ability to express complex technical and non-technical concepts verbally, graphically, and in writing for generalist and specialist audiences. Excellent writing and communication skills are mandatory.
    • Ability to work as part of a distributed virtual production team with limited supervision and under tight deadlines, solid project and task management skills
    • Ability to participate and provide input during crisis situations
    • Self-starter with great personal initiative

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Understanding of cyber threat issues such as computer intrusions, malicious code, cyber terrorism, threat finance, money laundering / fraud / eCrime, and other criminal activity
    • Foreign language skills in Russian, Chinese, Arabic, or European languages
