Job Description

FireEye’s Mandiant Consulting team is seeking a Security Architect in Dallas, Texas.  This opportunity requires an experienced cybersecurity professional with the ability to provide security architecture and oversight as a customer’s dedicated consultant.  The Security Architect will provide guidance on the development of containment and remediation plans for major cyber security incidents, support incident response activities, and serve as a trusted adviser.  The Security Architect will be the technical lead for information security projects on a team of onsite Mandiant Consultants.   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide guidance on building and/or maturing information security programs, detecting and responding to computer security incidents, and implementation of tools and technologies used for enterprise security
• Evaluate client needs, coordinate design for a solution, and clearly communicate the value proposition of complex and highly technical subjects
• Implement and/or assess existing security controls
• Provide expert level knowledge of tools and technologies used for enterprise security
• Interface with clients to address concerns, issues or escalations; track and drive to closure any issues that impact the service and its value to client

Qualifications

• Experience with security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies - Designing and implementing security solutions. This includes continuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions, working with an information security team
• Consulting experience in the development and design of security best practices and implementation of solid security principles across the organization, to meet business goals along with customer and regulatory requirements.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
• Ability to travel up to 25%
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Security or related degree preferred
