Job Description

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Security Solutions Intern to help us build applications for our Security Operations Platform. The intern in this role will be tasked with developing a set of applications for use on the Security Operations Platform and used by the InfoSec Security Operations, Threat Intelligence, and Risk Management teams. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, articulate, and familiar with the Python programming language and SQL. As part of the FireEye InfoSec team, you will play an integral role in helping the team defend the company from Evil.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the Security Architecture, Security Operations, and Threat Intelligence teams to document
• Capture logs and telemetry for use in security event and incident analysis
• Develop SQL queries for analysis of data
• Develop code for new applications on the security operations platform
• Document code and user guides for the applications

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuing Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with the Python programming language
• Experience with SQL and database concepts
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Experience with enterprise log collection and concepts
• Experience working with APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High comfort level with applications, networks, cloud architecture, and coding concepts
