Job Description
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI
Currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in supporting our DoD Customer with Mission Systems Engineering. The Cyber Security Engineer will provide cybersecurity engineering, systems architecture, and certification and accreditation (C&A) support to ensure that all missions remain certified and accredited and satisfy all cybersecurity requirements. The Cyber Security Engineer will also conduct hands-on evaluations of technical configurations on diverse technologies such as network devices, operating systems, and platforms supporting virtualization, database, web, and applications in the environment and in the cloud.
Qualifications
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: TS/SCI
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
· Ten years of experience in cybersecurity field
· Minimum of two years’ experience in achieving cybersecurity certification and accreditation
· Security+ certification
· Familiarity with DoD and Army Cybersecurity policies and instructions
· Proven ability to participate in the analysis of IT and business issues
· Strong written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to operate independently and collaboratively across multiple functional areas
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
· CISSP certification
· Experience with accreditations of large enclave networks and stand-alone systems using the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
· Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
· Familiarity with the Ports, Protocols and Services Management (PPSM) program
· Familiarity with the Army Portfolio Management Solution (APMS)
· Familiarity with DISA STIGs and the IAVM program
EDUCATION: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology related field.
