Job Description

The Development Engineer team works on Helix, FireEye’s next generation security operations platform. Our team is responsible for event ingestion at cloud scale. We are working on challenging problems to balance scale and cost aspects of running a cloud product. This intern will parse, ingest, and decorate data from various cloud components. This includes presenting the health data to engineers and the executive team in a weekly dashboard.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on parsing raw data to ingest it into the existing database

• Understand the dataset and its impact for different use cases

• Build an algorithm to fetch Data from the existing architecture and run a model to predict the state or future behavior of appliances

• Work on feature selection and feature engineering for getting the most appropriate inputs to the workflow

• Decorate the output of the algorithm and parse it to ingest to the database

• Use the new dataset to create dashboards to present the outputs to the engineers and executive team

• Enhance existing workflow to add new features for better and more accurate results

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python , SQL

• Experience with Node JS

• Experience with working with API

• Knowledge on Machine Learning Algorithms

• Must be a continuing college or university student in good standing at an accredited institution pursuing a graduate degree
