Job Description

The Development Engineering team works on Helix, FireEye’s next generation security operations platform. Our team is responsible for event ingestion at cloud scale. We are working on challenging problems to balance scale and cost aspects of running a cloud product. This intern will parse, ingest, and decorate data from various cloud components.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on parsing raw data to ingest it into the existing database

• Understand the dataset and its impact for different use cases

• Build an algorithm to fetch Data from the existing architecture and run a model to predict the state or future behavior of appliances

• Understand the time series data and come up with different analytical results

• Use the new dataset to create dashboards to present the outputs to the engineers and executive team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python

• Knowledge of SQL

• Experience with working with API

• Basic Knowledge on Machine Learning Algorithms

• Additional Business Intelligence skills is preferred

• Must be a continuing college or university student in good standing at an accredited institution pursuing a graduate degree
