We're looking for a passionate and talented Staff UX Designer who has the skills and experience to make a real impact as a leader in our business and industry, the ever-evolving cyber security, forensics, and intelligence space. A Staff UX Designer is an individual with an expert-level command of how to leverage UX as a business tool to transform products and businesses. This role analyzes, creates, and communicates compelling digital experiences and strategies as part of an influential team whose activities have a material effect on our business and customers.

    The successful candidate will have demonstrable ability to transform ideas into elegant, engaging and intuitive user interfaces. They are hands-on, and detail-oriented, with the ability to research, design, prototype, and advise on the implementation of exceptional user interfaces that support a variety of complex data-driven workflows. This role requires the designer to articulate and defend design decisions to development teams and executive stakeholders. They must be able to employ exceptional written, verbal, and visual design communication skills to drive designs from concepts to finished products. They also possess the ability to train and other designers of varying experience and skill levels.

    What you will do:

    • Take ownership of the visual and interaction design of a large complex B2B SaaS product.
    • Create and deliver prototypes, high fidelity mockups, wireframes, information architecture diagrams, personas, and user journey maps.
    • Communicate and collaborate with large cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, and product managers. 
    • Organize, facilitate, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user research.
    • Demonstrate a deep passion for learning and courage to push the boundaries of one's thinking.
    • Mentor junior teams members in all areas of UX design.
    • Travel as much as 5-10%.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 8+ years of professional experience in user experience design.
    • A strong portfolio website demonstrating the impact your designs have made on real products.
    • Expert understanding of one or more industry standard design tools such as: Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Axure or InVision.
    • Experience using prototyping tools to illustrate user workflows, elicit feedback, and manifest micro-interactions.
    • Experience organizing, facilitating, and analyzing qualitative and quantitative user research.
    • Experience working within large and collaborative design, engineering, and product teams.
    • Experience with multi-platform and multi-form-factor design.
    • Capable of effective public speaking
